The Rattler
This brown wool has a beautiful woven leather band with some fun feathers tucked inside. The entire hat has been lightly burned and on the front of the brim are three cut outs to give some flair. On the back of the brim it has a hand burned rattlesnake with a real rattler on the end.
The rattler came from my second cousin’s husband. He killed it among many others when he was down at the border working the Del Rio Sector as a border patrol agent. Pretty cool, huh? I knew it would be a perfect piece to complete this look.
